Westchester Kiwanis Special Project

Westchester Kiwanis helped a Bakersfield teen get a diabetic alert service dog that could save his life.

Dream Center Partnership
We provide essentials such as hot meals, work clothes, and bus passes to help former foster youth obtain jobs and the income needed to successfully transition to adulthood.
Christmas Shopping Spree
We help give disadvantaged children a Merry Christmas at our annual shopping spree where volunteer "Shopperones" help kids shop, take a picture with Santa, and enjoy a warm breakfast.
Turner Park Upkeep
We ensure that children rescued from abuse, and temporarily housed at the Jamison Center, have a safe and fun place to play and just be kids.
Houchin Blood Bank
We’ve been passionate about saving lives through blood donations at Houchin Community Blood Bank for more than 25 years.
