Community Leadership

In 2017, Westchester Kiwanis Club established a Community
Leadership Recognition Program. Up to four awards are given
each year. Award recipients, meeting eligibility qualifications,
are nominated by club members and approved by the Board
of Directors. Qualifying requirements surround “leadership,”
“volunteerism,” “positive effect on children,” and being a person
of “sound moral character” just to mention a few. There are no
age, gender or job position requirements. Recipients are presented
a beautiful wood engraved plaque at a Kiwanis membership attended event.
